The Gender Differences

There are many differences that we can find in this word, especially the differences between men and women. Woman usually thinks before they do something. It is so different with women, man does not think it before, and they just do it as soon as possible. The purpose of this essay is to compare and contrast the differences between women and man in thinking, feelings, sensitivity, friendship, and how they can solve their problems.

First, the differences between women and men in thinking. Women tend to be intuitive global thinkers. They consider multiply sources of information within a process that can be described as simultaneous, global in perspective and will view elements in the task in terms of their interconnectedness. Women come to understand and consider problems all at once. Men tend to focus on one problem at a time. They have an enhanced ability to separate themselves from problems and minimize the complexity that may exist. Different with women, man come to understand and consider problems one piece at a time.

Second, the differences between women and men feelings. Women discus feelings and look for common experiences to share with others. Men are more direct and less concerned about feelings.

Third, the differences between women and men sensitivity. Men feel closer and validated through shared activities. Such activities include sports, competition, and outdoor activities. On the other hand, women closer and validated through communication, dialogue, and sharing information.

Fourth, the differences between woman and men about friendship. Women apologize more hoping to create or sustain connection with others. Man view apologizes as a loss of face. They are so arrogant.

The last one is the differences in solving the problems. Men and women approach problems with similar goals but with different considerations. While man and women can solve problems equally well, their approaches are often quite different. Women are usually more concern about how problems are solved. For women, solving a problem can profoundly impact whether they feel closer and less alone or whether they feel distant and less connected. Men prefer action and desire immediate resource to solve the problem.

Beside those differences, women and man also have some similarities. Both of them like to compare each other, both of them are jealous to their couple, both of them are willing to give advice even if no one is asking their opinion, both of them need appreciation from the others, and both of them also will star a fight in a relationship.
